**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a passionate and creative Art Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with instructing art classes with adult and/or children. Knowledge in various digital design tools and traditional art mediums to educate and inspire students in the field of art. This is a by-contract poisition, not full-time or part-time.

**Duties:**

- Develop and implement art curriculum that covers a range of techniques and mediums

- Instruct students on the principles of art and design

- Teach traditional art skills including drawing, painting, and sculpture and/or non-traditional such as comics and anime

- Conduct demonstrations and workshops on character animation

- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment for all students

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's degree in Art Education or related field -OR- over 3 years of working in the field with references

- Previous experience teaching art at the K-12 level or higher education institutions. MOST PROGRAMS WILL INVOLVE K-8 for schools

- If you are more interested in teaching adults, we do offer adult programs as well

- Proficiency in digital design software and tools

- Some knowledge of art history, theory, and contemporary practices

- Ability to engage and motivate students with diverse learning styles

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Nice-to-Have Skills:

- Familiar with Procreate

- Experience in character animation and web design

- Passion for educating and inspiring students in the arts

Pay: $20.00 - $60.00 per hour
