Closing Officer
The Closing Officer is responsible for accurate preparation and disbursement of escrow files, along with ensuring all functions are performed according to all regulatory requirements.
Specific duties include:
Review of Real Estate contracts
Review of Title Commitment to ensure all title requirements are met
Preparation of Settlement Statements
Proper file balancing prior to closing
Preparation of closing documents
Present final closing documents to Seller/Buyers
Prepare and submit closed loan package, disbursement documentation and funds, and submission of post-closing documents to appropriate departments
Daily contact and communication with customer base
Respond in a timely, professional and courteous manner to any customer inquiries
Grow and maintain client relationships and develop new client relationships
Responsible for branch capture rate goals
Participation in client events and meetings
Qualifications:
Self-motivated and highly organized.
Strong time-management and prioritization skills.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
