Job Title: Maintenance / Janitor / Pool Operator

Location: Ho’opili, Ewa Beach, HI 96706

Terms: hourly (40 hours a week)

Salary/rate: $19/hour (subject to change)

Position available immediately

Responsibilities:

• Daily preparation and maintenance of Dolphin C6 pool cleaner

• Daily cleaning of pool with leaf rake

• Daily brushing of pool (push dirt from shallow end into deep end)

• Daily cleaning of pool basket skimmers

• Daily check of pool chemicals (chlorine around 3 ppm) (pH at 7.4 ppm)

• Check/Open shade-umbrellas (if required)

• Clean bathrooms daily

• Replenish bathroom supplies daily

• Daily BBQ cleaning

• Replenish propane gas tanks (Home Depot run) once a every 2 weeks

• Open pool at 8am, close pool at 8:30pm

• Enforce pool rules as much as possible

• Clean party & meeting rooms after a function

• Daily cleaning of windows at SoHo Facility

• Place Dolphin C6 into pool for overnight cleaning

• Daily cleaning of trash bins at SoHo (AM shift) Twice a day on weekends and holidays

• Daily cleaning of trash bins on Master grounds (PM shift) Twice a day on weekends and holidays (incl. Konane Park, bus turnaround, Kipuka Parks, Soccer Field, Parcel 24, Festival Street, Dog Park and Park and Ride Playground

• Daily emptying of dog waste stations on Master grounds and replenishment of bags

• Monthly power washing of pool deck, Konane Park Pavilion

• Overall monitoring of Master grounds health and report damages to Management

• Event setup support during Ho’opili Community Events

• Check inventory of cleaning supplies and report to Management

Required Skills:

• Punctual

• Able to finish tasks in a timely manner

• Able to drive a car and a golf cart (must have valid drivers license)

• Able to lift at least 30lbs of weight

• Pool Operator License a plus, but not required

• Able to use power tools

• Able to do simple handyman tasks

• Able to work outdoors rain or shine

Must complete mandatory drug test/background check prior to employment.
