Monsignor Slade Catholic School is looking to hire a part-time Registered Nurse. The nurse will work closely with the school community to maintain a healthy environment.

Essential Functions

• Provide first aid, medical care, and emergency care services to students, faculty and staff
• Administer medications and treatments to students as ordered by students’ physicians
• Assist in the collection and management of health forms
• Create and maintain documentation of all encounters, assessments, and interventions
• Serve as liaison between students, teachers, and families in regard to health concerns

Position Qualifications

• Current Maryland RN license - BSN preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
• Current Red Cross or American Heart Association CPR/Basic Life Support certification
• Ability to quickly and competently assess medical situations and escalate as needed
