Our national multi-family management company seeks an Entry Level Service Associate - Make Ready Technician with a "Whatever it Takes" attitude to be responsible for preparations of vacant apartment homes for move-ins and ensuring established standards are met and apartments are converted in a timely manner.
REPORTS TO: Community Manager and Lead Maintenance Technician

Essential Functions
- Prepare vacant apartment homes for move-in.
- Review the make-ready board and take direction from the Community Manager and/or Maintenance Manager to determine action to be taken on apartment homes.
- Make all repairs/replacements necessary for units to be occupied as outlined on the make-ready checklist.
- Apply touch-up and full paints as needed to interior and exterior of apartment homes.
- Clean out all trash from apartment homes before, during and after make-ready activity.
- Inspect completed apartment homes and schedule any necessary follow-up work before designating the unit as “Ready”.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must be skilled in the safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, user moved aids, mechanical equipment and measuring devices.
- May be required to handle plumbing repairs, tile work, appliance repair, carpentry repairs, electrical repairs and all facets of apartment make ready.
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, or other malfunctions and make repairs or correct problems.
- Must be able to apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions and plans.
- Will interact with vendors, contractors, Clients, and all levels of employees. Therefore, must possess excellent interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to read and write in English to read diagrams, meters, instructions, etc.
- Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA Requirements, EEOC.
- Must supply own tools.
- Certifications as required by State and Local Jurisdictions.
