Role: Network Administrator

Location: Onsite in Tallahassee, FL

Full-Time Role

Our client is focused on finding someone whose experience includes the planning, implementation, monitoring, maintenance, and security of the network infrastructure including the LAN, WAN, and new network technologies when implemented. There is a strong focus on security.

This is an onsite/hybrid role with 2-3 days/week in their Tallahassee, FL office.

There may be after-hours and weekend work as needed (with advance notice).

In addition, our client requires a valid driver’s license for travel to other local offices.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS

•Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor’s degree in information technology, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field plus one year of related technical work experience; in lieu of a 4-year degree they will consider the equivalent combination of training and experience.

•Certified in Net , Security , or CCNA (current).

EXPERIENCE:

• Maintain all network and computer systems security to ensure all systems are operating correctly.

• Install network hardware and software and makes needed upgrades and repairs.

• Investigate, recommend, and install enhancements and operating procedures that optimize network availability.

• Administer firewall, endpoint protection and other network security devices.

• Resolve computer and network problems.

• Serve as backup to the System Administrator.
