EXPERIENCE:
• Maintain all network and computer systems security to ensure all systems are operating correctly.
• Install network hardware and software and makes needed upgrades and repairs.
• Investigate, recommend, and install enhancements and operating procedures that optimize network availability.
• Administer firewall, endpoint protection and other network security devices.
• Resolve computer and network problems.
• Serve as backup to the System Administrator.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS
• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor’s degree in information technology, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field plus one year of related technical work experience; in lieu of a 4-year degree they will consider the equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Certified in Net , Security , or CCNA (current).
