Education Requirements:

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in software engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5 years of job-related experience, or a master’s degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.

Clearance Requirements:

• Department of Defense TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES: 

• As a software engineer for the High-Performance Computing Group, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team developing and supporting mission applications.

• Advanced computing software, hardware

• Embedded or systems development and fielding, sustainment, and lifecycle support

• Strong and diverse working knowledge of software languages, hardware, and industry best practices

• Advanced mathematics / physics; a track record of excellent team dynamics, development, and relevant technical contributions

• Technical and problem-solving skills in advanced computing systems, hardware, software, mathematics, physics, or end-mission applications and support, with an understanding of how those capabilities fit into the bigger product / service offering.

• Expertise in applying technology and technical skills to solve challenges in creative ways.

• Experience digging into hardware specifications and leveraging hardware interfaces in the composition of low-level software solutions.

• Knowledge of general programming principles and optimization strategies, with previous experience in Assembly, C/C , Python, Rust, Embedded Linux or others.
