Your Responsibilities as a Scientist:
  • Collect soil, water, air, and/or building material samples.
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret data.
  • Write technical reports and proposals.
  • Plan field projects and lead a sampling team in the field.
  • Periodic overnight travel up to 20% is expected.
  • Actively develop your own career growth.

What we're looking for:
  • BA/BS in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, Engineering, Biology or other related field.
  • Prior experience with environmental field sampling (soil and water), drilling oversight and logging of soil and bedrock samples, monitoring well installation, and aquifer testing oversight and data collection is a plus
  • Experience with due diligence projects (Phase I and II ESAs) a plus
  • Strong technical writing skills, the ability to successfully multi-task, safety awareness, and a good record and understanding of safe work practices.
  • 40-hour HAZWOPER or MSHA certification preferred or ability to complete in 3 mos.
  • Light construction experience/hands-on skills a plus.
  • Experience as a field team leader or supervisory role is preferred.
  • Experience with data management and report preparation.
  • Valid driver's license, good driving history and reliable transportation are required.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
