We are looking for a skilled and experienced Part-Time Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in maintaining and repairing a fleet of trucks, trailers, and small engines used daily in a Landscape Contractor environment. This position is crucial in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

$26 - $34 Hourly

• Perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues, and make repairs on a fleet of trucks, trailers, zero-turn mowers, spray rigs, and other equipment.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance performed and parts used.
• Maintain a clean and organized Shop and Yard, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with the management team regarding the status of vehicles and equipment.
• Possible plowing work in the winter if interested.
• Trucks are mostly Ram Trucks 2019-2023. Mowers are mostly Scag and Exmark.

• Proven experience as a mechanic with a focus on both truck and trailer maintenance and small engine repair.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with hydraulics preferred.
• Welding and light fabrication experience.
• Ability to research mechanical issues on your own.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in automotive or small engine repair is a plus.
• Plowing experience, if interested.
