Our private dental practice is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Treatment Coordinator to join our dental office team. The Treatment Coordinator will be responsible for providing treatment plans to patients, verifying insurances, and coordinating patient care. The ideal candidate will have experience in dental receptionist duties, be familiar with dental terminology, and have excellent communication skills. MUST HAVE PRIOR DENTAL EXPERIENCE
```Responsibilities```- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations
- Collect patient information and update electronic dental records using Dental Intel and Open Dental
- Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries or direct them to the appropriate staff member
- Coordinate referrals to specialists and follow up on treatment plans
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
```Requirements```
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or dental treatment coordinator
- Proficient in using phone systems and handling multiple lines
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service to patients
- Experience working in a dental office setting is a must
