Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. The Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling transportation services efficiently.

Duties:

- Coordinate and schedule transportation services for efficient operations.
- Utilize transportation management systems to track and manage shipments.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately to update shipment information.
- Use GIS tools to optimize routes and improve delivery times.
- Handle phone calls with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette.
- Assist in shipping and receiving tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with logistics teams to streamline operations.

Skills:

- Proficient in transportation management systems.
- Strong data entry skills with high accuracy.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Knowledge of GIS tools for route optimization.
- Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes.
- Understanding of logistics and freight operations.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
