- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Perform in a team environment to process, reconcile and maintain Accounts Payable transactions utilizing MRP software, Outlook and QuickBooks.
- Responsible for maintaining the integrity of accounting records, including audits as required
- Communicate with all internal departments, with additional focus on communications with Company President, Sr. Human Resource Manager and Accounting Lead.
- Communicate with vendors and customers.
- Maintain filing system for Accounts Payable.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Present a professional image in accordance with company standards.
- Demonstrate good judgment and decision-making skills.
- Train and learn the AR duties, to cover for the Accounting Lead in their absence.
- Other duties as requested.
- Minimum high school degree or equivalent with experience in related bookkeeping systems.
- Preferred AA or equivalent education in accounting.
- Experience with general accounting software, QuickBooks preferred
- Experience with general manufacturing software a plus
- Ability to work in a team environment and be a contributing member.
- Attention to written details.
- Must be able to read and understand accounting reports.
- Demonstrated ability to reconcile Accounts Payable/Receivable accounts.
- Demonstrated ability to reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Windows OS.
- Demonstrated ability using MS Office software (i.e Excel, Word, Publisher).
- Must be able to take initiative.
- Must be able to work within deadlines.
- Professional environment engaged in the support of the manufacturing of components, systems, and service-related products.
- Present a professional image in accordance with company appearance standards.
- International Standards Organization (ISO) certified environment
- Some noise and plastic chips in manufacturing area.
- Safety glasses recommended on the manufacturing floor outside of designated safety corridor
- Hearing protection recommended in vicinity of machinery
- Compliance with company safety practices and procedures.
- Ability to lift and carry 35 lbs.
