Job Summary:
We are seeking a Registered Medical Assistant to join our OB/GYN clinic. The ideal candidate will assist healthcare providers in the examination and treatment of patients, provide patient care, and maintain the clinic's medical supplies. The Registered Medical Assistant will work closely with the medical team to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
2. Perform basic patient care tasks, including vital signs, weight measurement, and specimen collection.
3. Document patient information and maintain accurate medical records.
4. Schedule patient appointments and assist with billing and coding as needed.
5. Maintain and restock medical supplies and equipment.
6. Ensure a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment.
7. Provide support to patients and their families, offering clear and compassionate communication.
8. Adhere to clinical protocols, infection control policies, and safety regulations.
Requirements:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
3. Current Registered Medical Assistant certification.
4. Previous experience in a similar clinical setting preferred.
5. Knowledge of medical terminology, patient care techniques, and medical office procedures.
6. Basic computer skills and experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
