Job Title: Accounts Payable Coordinator
Contract Length: 3 months
Location: On site in Houston, TX
Joint Interest Accountant - Accounts Payable responsibilities include:
- Process JIB payments to outside Operators.
- Maintain detailed logs of outstanding disputes.
- Work with outside Operators to resolve outstanding disputes.
- Responsible for recording miscellaneous journal entries and adjustments.
- Communicate and work with Operations, Land and all Accounting Departments to help process payments and resolve outstanding disputes.
The successful candidate for this position will meet the following requirements:
- Proficient Microsoft Excel Skills (pivot tables and filtering).
- Proactive self-starter with a positive attitude and excellent communications skills.
- Able to interact with employees outside of accounting at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work independently and as member of a team.
Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in areas of oil and gas accounting.
- Experience with SAP.
- Experience with EnergyLink.
