AI Solution Architect - Hybrid 3 days/week onsite - Columbia, SC - $100/HR

Length: 1 year contract (plan to extend up to 3 years then candidate can be reconsidered)

Location: Columbia, SC - Hybrid

The AI Architect is responsible for designing and leading the implementation of artificial intelligence infrastructures within an organization. This role focuses on optimizing AI technology integration to transform business processes and drive innovation effectively and ethically.

The ideal candidate should have:

1. A strong coding background with experience in Python
2. Cloud experience: Azure and/or AWS ,
3. Implementation and Integration experience: Chatbots and Copilot.
4. They should have experience in developing proof of concepts (POCs)
5. A deep understanding of technology, and a passion for AI.
6. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be well-spoken.
7. They should be able to speak at an executive level and work hand in hand with governance to help draft policy and ensure compliance with ethical standards and industry regulations.
8. The ideal candidate should have experience in data and big data, including data tagging.
9. They should be able to bridge the gap between complex AI technologies and practical business applications, designing technical blueprints for AI systems, collaborating with technical and business teams to tailor AI-driven solutions, and overseeing the implementation process to ensure that these solutions deliver tangible benefits.
10. Key responsibilities of an AI Architect include architecting and deploying scalable AI solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing business and IT infrastructure, leading cross-disciplinary teams to develop AI applications that meet strategic business objectives, and ensuring AI solutions comply with ethical standards and industry regulations.
