Title: Business Data Analyst

Duration: 8 month Contract to Hire

Location: West Palm Beach, FL - Hybrid - 3x week

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Data Analyst to become our financial data expert. In this pivotal role, you will work intimately with our capital markets team, dedicated to securing funding for our initiatives. Your expertise in data modeling and Power BI will be instrumental in automating complex formulas and calculations into our reporting framework. Moreover, you will act as a bridge between business needs and technical execution, translating business requirements into actionable technical specifications. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a knack for problem-solving and a passion for data-driven storytelling. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with business partners to comprehend the informational needs of end users.
• Design and implement reporting and visualization solutions that transform raw data into critical information, driving sound business decisions.
• Develop comprehensive data set documentation, BI reports, dashboards, and insights reporting.
• Utilize advanced-level calculations to extract meaningful insights from data sets.
• Create and fine-tune Power BI data models to optimize performance and clarity.
• Serve as a key communicator with clients and internal stakeholders, effectively conveying complex data concepts.

Qualifications:

• Experience with Data Modeling
• Experience with PowerBI
• Demonstrated ability to manage, manipulate, and validate large data sets from various systems, utilizing statistical software or other methods.
• Experience engaging with non-technical stakeholders, addressing their needs amidst ambiguous and evolving priorities.
• Ability to work on-site 2-3 days per week
• Ability to work on a W-2 without sponsorship (no 1099/C2C eligibility)
