Construction Cost Manager 2
Summary:
The main function of a construction cost manager is to supervise and coordinate the activities of production and operating workers.
Job Responsibilities:
•Develop tracking mechanism and control regarding cost metrics, inclusive of industry indices.
•Analyze project quantities, rates.
•Set and monitor standards to ensure benchmarks are in-line.
•Prepare and maintain reports.
Skills:
•Verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and problem solving skills.
•Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
•Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control and other techniques for maximizing proposals.
•Knowledge of Construction trades (MasterFormat), including their units, rates, etc.
•Knowledge of Datacenter design, inclusive of reading and understanding project design documents and specifications.
Education/Experience:
•College graduate: BS in Construction Sciences, Management or Business Degree preferred.
•4 years experience required.
