Location: Richmond, VA (3 days onsite per week.)

Length: 12 month Assignment (High chance for fulltime conversion down the road.)

Pay: $60 - $65/hour W2 (No Corp-to-Corp)

Skills:

• 6 years of experience working with Data with the ability to help lead as needed.
• Strong Data Analysis skills to be able to run with projects and take lead.
• Heavy Data Management and Data Governance experience to include Controls, Mapping, Lineage, Working with Regulators, Working on MRAs / Regulatory Exams, etc.
• Must have previous Banking experience.
• Strong MS Office experience specifically with Excel and PowerPoint.
• Basic SQL experience.
• Regulatory or Collibra experience would be a huge plus.

Full Details:

• An understanding of the overall data sourcing process from Application ingestion, transformation, and storage in a variety of databases.
• Knowledge of data domains & data management fundamentals.
• Strong attention to details, ability to work independently.
• Excellent written/oral communication skills - relationship building will be a major part of these roles!

• Backgrounds heavily in data and data mapping.
• Have worked alongside apps teams.
• Understand/work on improvement and automation efforts from applications data source to database stores.

• Support the implementation of the strategy for identification, certification, adoption and monitoring of Authoritative Data Sources (ADS).
• Supporting ADS adherence to Enterprise Data Management (EDM) Standards, including the implementation and ongoing monitoring of all technology controls associated with an ADS.
• Support the establishment and run the Risk & Finance Data Design Authority to govern the adoption of data governance practices.
• Drive the enhancement and implementation of the Authoritative Source Certification Framework.
• Build a common data culture between business leaders, architects and the CDO community to ensure clear lines of responsibility, accountability for all aspects of data ownership, data management and data remediation activities.
• Establish and maintain relationships across stakeholder groups (COOs of business functions, IT architects, IT service owners, domain architects and the wider CDO community).
• Drive value realization through data architecture by recommending data strategies and programs.
