Job#: 2037541 Job Description: This position will be responsible and have a hand in engineering, designing and installing military RF/Communication equipment for Command and Control.
* Assist in engineering, design, and installation of electrical power systems
* Design and implement Radio Frequency (RF) and Microwave telecommunication systems
* Read, redline, and design electrical circuits
* Coordinate the procurement of electrical components from commercial and DOD vendors to meet requirements.
* Write customer system-specific installation and operator maintenance manuals which include detailed drawings, test plans, and procedures.
* Determining the root cause of malfunctions and correcting them
* Work with industrial, military, and commercial electrical wiring, repair, and maintenance as well as mechanical-system troubleshooting
* Work hands-on installing, repairing, and maintenance of motors, control panels, mechanical and electrical systems such as timers, circuit breakers, feeders, coils, and relays.
* Train staff in system repairs, operations, procedures, and troubleshooting
* Use of electrical test equipment
* Work in a team environment, Quality Team Member
* Collaborate with engineering staff
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
* BSEE from an ABET accredited college or university.
* Working knowledge of single and 3 phase power circuits.
* Understanding and experience with RF and Microwave principles and grounding
* 7 years working experience
* 3 years of RF and Microwave Systems
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
* Active Secret or TS Clearance
* Tools like HFSS and FEKO are not required but a plus
* Military communications experience in a tactical environment
* Five plus years commercial/industrial electrical experience
