Apex Systems is Hiring a Field Technician Near Portland, OR
This is a 4 month opportunity supporting a well known company in the area. The candidate for this role will need good written and excellent clear verbal communication. IT Support or hardware install experience is helpful but not mandatory. The candidate will also need to be comfortable with commute and have a reliable vehicle.
Contract: July 2024- November 2024
Location: Portland, OR - role does require travel and cnadidates need to be comfortable driving 2-3 hours outside of centeral Portland area
Pay : $17-19/hr Mileage (0.43/mile) - paid weekly on W2
Responsibilities:
- Scope of each project may include installing computers, printers, scanners, workstations (laptops or desktops), routers, switches or electronic file storage devices
- Training included
- Cleanup of materials and preparing legacy devices for pickup and shipping
Requirements:
- IT training/experience preferred
- Excellent customer service/communication skills
- Must be comfortable driving to install locations
- Must have own, reliable transportation
Schedule:
- Install days are Monday through Friday
- Installer must be available on Monday's for reschedules and revisit
