Title: Infrastructure Project Manager
Term: 6 months
Location: remote working EST (onsite 1X/month to Quincy, MA)
Pay: $64/hr

Migration from Mainframe experience or ERP migration
Agile/Waterfall PM blended experience
Project Financial Tracking experience
Position Description:
Our client is looking for an experienced candidate that will be responsible for supporting a migration project involving department or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of a computer-based system from the design process through a finished state for internal/external customers.
Responsibilities :
Take projects from original concept through final implementation.
Interface with all areas affected by the project including end users, computer services, and client services.
Define project scope and objectives.
Oversee/coordinate all aspects of project and serves as project manager between clients, systems, line management and other departments.
Plan and directs schedules as well as project budgets.
Monitor the product/program/project from initiation through delivery, interfacing with customer on technical and non-technical matters.
Assess project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals.
Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, budgets, and status reports.
Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project deliverables.
Manage the integration of vendor tasks, and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.
May provide technical/analytical guidance to project team.
Recommend/take action to direct the analysis of and solution to problems.
Qualifications:
Candidate must have strong command of the SDLC and PMLC methodologies.
Candidate must have experience supporting project managers in all facets of the space. This includes understanding KPI’s, status reporting, taking minutes from meetings and publishing them in a very timely manner. Must be able to facilitate meeting scheduling and execute follow-ups as directed.
Candidate must have experience with MS Project. Candidate will know how to operate within the tool, including exportation to PDF.
Candidate must have experience on building large project plans and gathering information for teams to build that plan
Candidate needs to be technically proficient in remote working environment toolsets, not limited but to include, email, Teams, Zoom, and Webex.
Candidate must possess a financial acumen. Candidate must understand forecasts, how to process actual costs, accruals, and reversals. Exposure to capital and expense funding. Must have experience supporting Project Manager in managements of vendors and vendor billing.
Candidate must have an appreciation for risk, action items, and decisions that typically reside in a RAID log.
Candidate must have experience working in partnership with different kind of personalities
Candidate must possess the ability to embrace change and manage competing priorities. Must be able to pivot laterally from one focus to another while maintaining tactical (10,000 ft view) and strategic (50,000 ft view) of project and program objectives.
Candidate must have strong appreciation for governance models. Exposure to SAFe Agile, ITIL, or PMP. Certifications not necessarily required, candidate must demonstrate ability to appreciate differing models (Agile and Waterfall), governance lifecycle, and have experience with artifact creation, review, and submission.
Candidate must possess strong written and oral communication skills. Candidate must be able to operate in team environment as well as on solitary tasks, whereupon reporting back to Project Management lead.
