IT Support Associate
This position's primary responsibility is to provide exceptional technical support for the firm's portfolio managers, investment teams, operational staff, and executives who are located in, or travel through, the firm's Milwaukee office. In addition to supporting the day-to-day technology needs of the office, ensuring our portfolio managers and their teams experience an environment in which they can thrive. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical troubleshooting and support skills. In addition, this person will act as a liaison with the greater technology team, providing pro-active ideas and resolutions for the staff and offices supported.

Responsibilities
The candidate can expect to:
-Develop and maintain a sense of ownership as it relates to the effective use of technology in our Milwaukee office
- Initiate, monitor, and respond to help desk tickets with a high degree of flexibility and an exceptional level of support
- Creatively and consistently work with engineering and support teams to ensure that tested and approved technologies are professionally implemented
- Work with the latest technologies and best practices with regards to IT support and operations
Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess:
- 5 - 10 years of experience providing exceptional hands-on support to a variety of end-user devices such as Microsoft desktops and laptops, smartphones, Apple devices, printers, etc.
- Ability to build relationships with end users and adjust communication style as necessary to fit the end user
- Commitment to timely responses to urgent requests and excellent follow through
- Strong work ethic and the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while meeting demanding deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to develop, document and communicate support-focused processes in collaboration with other technology teams
- Outstanding and effective interpersonal communication skills and customer service approach
- Previous financial services experience including knowledge of Bloomberg, Factset, and/or other investment tools (preferred)
