Job Description:

Position: Network Architect
Location: Orlando, Florida
Duration : 6-month contract-to-hire
Rate Range?: $50-60/hr

Position Overview:

• It seems like this is TCC - which is focused on the Apache helicopter
• Does training for technical side of Apache
• Also going to integrate to other platforms including chinook
• This is work is in support of DoD request
• First part is setting up the core infrastructure - standard AD, Microsoft stack, san, backup, vmware, tcc (tactical control center) - work positions where people executing scenario would be. Then you have the TFAT trainers itself - person would be responsible for computers running that software. Each TFAT has 2 computers one for pilot and one for the gunner
• Haven't even gone to systems requirements review yet

Day to Day Responsibilities/typical day look like:

• They are going to be architecting the backbone infrastructure for a high fidelity aircraft simulator
• They will have to go through design/selection process for hardware/software, and then also get it bought, and then once they have will have to set everything up

Selling Points for Candidates:

• Work from home Fridays

Requirements:
1. Standing up Systems from Scratch
2. Extensive Cisco Networking knowledge - writing switch configs from scratch and integrating into networks
3. Extensive VMware experience - setting up, using vmware horizon, high availability
4. Storage Administration - both standing up and maintaining systems, preferably Dell storage
