Jr Network Engineer
HOW OUR NETWORK ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

• 2-5 Years of experience in a Networking or NOC Environment
• Installing, configuring, monitoring and maintaining network devices (switches, routers) of data and communications networks as part of Network Team.
• Work with Tier I/II Service Desk Technicians and cables team to resolve customer impacting network outages, network changes and activation.
• Monitor, assign, and work Service Now tickets ensuring they are resolved within the established Service Level Agreement
• Analyzes network topologies, traffic and capacity requirements
• Monitor network connectivity
• Create Standard Operations Procedures and Shift Reports
• Maintain team schedule
• Handle all escalations
• May work odd hours to support facility maintenance actions to minimize customer impact.
• Provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced network personnel
• Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required:

• Candidates must be able to obtain/maintain a DOD Top Secret Clearance per condition of employment
• Candidates must be able to obtain/maintain a DOD IAT Level II Certification
