Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Product Manager with deep product expertise. This full-time role offers remote or hybrid work options in Kansas City, MO.
Responsibilities include:

• Understanding customer needs through market research and interviews.
• Creating product vision statements and strategy.
• Advocating for the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
• Owning the idea management process.
• Coordinating activities to bring new functionality to market.
• Prioritizing features against strategic goals.
• Defining requirements for each feature and the user experience.
• Filling the product owner role for Agile Development teams.
• Participating in strategic planning at the department level.
• Assisting with the development and administration of the department's annual budget.
• Managing multiple projects concurrently.

Skills and Abilities:

• Empathetic and execution-oriented.
• Collaborative and data-driven.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in agile development best practices.
• Knowledge of project management techniques and reporting.

Minimum education and/or experience required:

• 5 years Product Management experience or equivalent.

Preferred Experience:

• Product Manager or Product Owner certification.
