Position summary:
We are looking for a meticulous Research Associate with a growth mindset and a passion for biology research. The successful candidate will play an integral role in the development of our platform. With this platform, we aim to remediate diseases caused by haploinsufficiency through increasing translation of target transcripts. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to shape the platform and contribute to a publication with our collaborator and co-founder.
Key responsibilities for this position:
Maintenance and transfection of immortalized cell lines
Bacterial culture, cloning, and plasmid preparation
Minimum qualifications:
A BS/MS in Biology or a related discipline
2 years’ experience doing molecular biology research
