Position: Electrical Engineer
Location: Remote
Purpose: This contractor will be providing QA/QC for Electrical Engineering Projects
Experience: 10 years of relatable professional experience in engineering, consulting, or project management preferred
Hours: M-F, 40 hours per week
Length of Assignment: 3 month rolling contract
Pay Range: Up to $80/hr (dependent on experience)
Position Summary:
This Senior Electrical Engineer with a Professional Engineer (PE) license would be expected to have a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles and extensive experience in the field. They would be responsible for designing, developing, checking, and supervising the installation of electrical equipment, systems, and projects. They might also be involved in research and development to create new applications of electrical power.
Key Responsibilities:

• Leading complex projects and guiding junior engineers.
• Ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes.
• Conducting and overseeing electrical system simulations, testing, and validation.
• Preparing and reviewing technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, and topographical maps to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards.

Required Qualifications:

• A Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering.
• A valid PE license.
• Experience with power
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
