Sr. UX Designer

Location: Seattle, Wa

Duration: 7/1/24 - 12/31/24

Pay Range: $50/hr - $60/hr

We are looking for a Sr. UX Designer to play a pivotal part in enhancing the usability of our products, scaling the team's standards and best practices, and being a role model designer for the team. This person should be comfortable operating autonomously in a fast-paced environment while delivering across all stages of the product life cycle. This role will define the User Experience for Local Infrastructure and Managed Operations (LIMO). The ideal candidate is adept at taking highly technical, ambiguous problems and translating them to intuitive solutions for both business and retail customers. This position will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, product marketing, and customer experience.

Key Job Responsibilities

* Evaluate customer challenges and design delightful solutions that meet measurable business goals.

* Collaborate closely with product teams to define use cases and overarching requirements.

* Advocate for strong design principles throughout the LIMO team, with extremely high standards for quality.

* Establish, evolve, and evangelize LIMO's design systems and visual language.

* Inform designs using market research, user feedback, analytics, and usability studies

* Efficiently produce process flows, wireframes, and visual design prototypes to articulate nuanced interaction behaviors.

* Detail and maintain comprehensive user interface specifications.

* Present design concepts to UX teams, product stakeholders, and executives for feedback and review.

* Collaborate with development teams to implement designs, offering precise specifications and assets, and verifying final interfaces.

* Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in UX, Networking, on-prem infrastructure, and technology, and incorporate them into our design processes.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 7 years of design experience

- Have an available online portfolio

- Experience with best practices for User Interface Design, Information Architecture, and Interaction Design

- Experience in life cycle design projects from design strategy through execution

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience providing and effectively communicating strategic and tactical recommendations based on data

- Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, Axure, Keynote, and InVision

- Experience designing for enterprise networking and infrastructure services.
