Role / Title: Strategic Sourcing Specialist
Client: Health Care Client
Agreed Pay Rate: $55 hour
Location: Palo Alto, CA – 1 day onsite
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 Months Contract to Hire
Shift: 9-5, 40 hours a week
Job Description:
- Ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience with demonstrated expertise with financial data analysis, understanding of go to market models for enterprise software and hardware companies.
- Work with various TDS teams to obtain requirements for hardware and/or software procurement
- Provide TDS requirements to a variety of hardware, software, and services vendors and obtains quotes
- Understand vendor proposals/contracts and works with vendors to obtain clarification where needed
- Work with various TDS teams to facilitate vendor evaluation
- Lead the planning and launch of RFIs and RFPs
- Gather and structure data to negotiate contracts
- Actively seek to understand TDS technology needs & benchmark market trends
- Identify and pursue opportunities to lower the total cost of goods and services to enhance total enterprise cost of ownership
- Provide supply planning and analysis
