Shift: M-Friday; 3 days onsite/2 days remote
Applicable Locations: Charlotte, NC | Chandler, AZ | NYC, NY | Minneapolis, MN | Dallas, TX
Duration: 12-24 months contractPay Rate Range: $50 /hr W2

Position: Systems Operations Engineer

Requirements:
- SQL / ETL
- Cloud – Azure, AKS
- Application specific set up alerting and monitoring (ITRS, SPLUNK, App Dynamics or any alerting or monitoring tools).
- Incident/Problem management; strong awareness of ITIL
- Toil reduction Ability to automate and drive operational improvement
- Schedulers – Autosys
- Environments – Windows, Linux, Unix
- Databases: Oracle, SQL Server, SQLMI or anything similar.
- Vendor platforms – Actimize, FIRCOSOFT.
- During on-call, be available and acknowledge paging.
- Responsible for global handovers
- Perform a preliminary diagnosis of the issue and engage partner teams for further assistance as necessary.
- If possible lead an active incident or issue triage to be able to represent or assist in resolving the issue.
- Ensure necessary escalation is performed
