Director, Sales, THD - US - Remote Office

The Blueprint (Role Profile)

The Director, Sales, THD.com is responsible for developing and deploying strategies to achieve rapid, sustainable, and profitable e-Commerce growth in North America for branded and private-label products on THD.com, which sales of approximately $30M. S/he creates, deploys, and manages all related strategies associated with THD.com including A content creation and management for all ATG branded and private label product, working closely with internal and external marketing to develop and deploy. The incumbent manages a $1.75M budget for promotions and value creation activities designed to drive incremental traffic through marketing campaigns.

This position reports to the Vice President, Sales, THD and works closely with ATG's THD leadership, branded and private label product management and marketing teams to drive streamlined strategies. S/he leads a team of two to three other e-Commerce sales professionals to support all needs in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

The Build (Responsibilities)

*Partner with THD team to create sales and e-Commerce strategies aligned to key business objectives, such as incremental growth opportunities in branded and private label product

*Own the long-term strategy for THD.com, including sales plans, budgets, forecasts, results, resources, and cadences for reviewing adherence and progress for shifts and corrections

*Develop, cultivate, and grow strategic relationships with THD.com, store, and tool merchants and THD's brand advocacy team and meet with THD executives on strategic plans/line reviews

*Manage internal and external marketing relationships to ensure A content creation and auditing for all ATG branded and private label products

*Drive new product placement and planogram development for THD.com, including not only those SKUs sold in-store, but also additional products and tool sets on an online-only basis

*Conduct competitive market analyses at THD.com to better understand their systems, processes, and to educate our internal team on relevant growth strategies and tactics

*Provide leadership and guidance to a team of e-Commerce sales professionals, ensuring individual development plans with the goal of building e-Commerce core competencies

*Understand, monitor, and work around channel conflict and exclusivity agreements

The Toolbox (Qualifications)

*Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related discipline

*10 years' experience in Industrial Sales; THD, THD.com, or e-Commerce experience preferred

*Experience creating, deploying, and leading Sales strategies and tactics to grow sales

*In-depth knowledge and understanding of e-Commerce marketing practices

*Strong cross-functional business acumen and understanding

*Ability to travel as needed

This position's anticipated annual salary range is $122,000- $204,000 with a Summit bonus; at plan, this position's bonus opportunity is 10%. The position is also eligible for up to 36% for the sales incentive plan.
