The Blueprint (Role Profile)

This role, reporting to Sr. Director of Sales, will be responsible for developing and guiding the implementation of potentially multiple national account specific business plans, achieving profitability and sales targets, serving as the primary account contact, providing account leadership, and meeting/exceeding sales goals.Primary national account responsibility to be Orgill, Ace, SE 2 Step HDA accounts.

The Build (Responsibilities)

  • Develop account strategies aligned with overall channel and account strategy; this includes key dealer/corporate accounts, e-commerce and independent manufacturing re agencies

·Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR – Qtrly Business Reviews) with key buying and account Executive Teams – based upon a holistic (JBP – Joint Business Plans) created with varied level of detail by account

·Quarterly Marketing Promotional Reviews

·Create promotions and promotional bundles that meet ATG Margin expectations and bring value to quarterly account events and promotional catalogs, brochures, shows, online.

·Use of internal Special Pricing analysis and executions are essential.

    • Annual Promotional Calendar by account / channel
    • Attend and present strategical sales opportunities and product training to key team members, outside account sellers, others
    • Conduct internal ATG Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) with NAHT and GPT Teams (including Weller)
  • Manage a Team of 1-2 people ATG Key Account Managers who are aligned within the channel, accounts
  • Monitor and manage price strategy to align with overall brand strategy.
  • Manage POS data and present pertinent results.
  • Utilize Value Selling techniques to listen and understand customer needs and demonstrate the ability to identify viable solutions and business opportunities.
  • Obtain and maintain excellent product knowledge in order to present entire product line, demonstrating technical knowledge regarding function and application.
  • Establish strong relations with internal support functions such as Marketing, Product Development, Operations, Customer Service, etc.
  • Manage supply chain scorecards and performance within Supplier Portals and with our teams to engage best service, forecast accuracy; Drive forecast and service accuracy to agreed upon KPI’s of 95% , Proficient Billings and Demand forecasting results based upon ATG lead times
