Job Title: Visual Merchandising Designer

Duration: 6 Months Contract High Possibilities of Extension

Location: New York, NY 10014 (Hybrid)

Pay Rate: $40/ - 42/- hr. on W2 (Without Benefits)

Summary:

• We are seeking a seasoned Visual Merchandising Designer III with over 7 years of hands-on experience in corporate visual merchandising.
• This role supports 7 brands and involves 20% concept development and 80% execution of concepts in Ulta, Sephora, and SC.
• The ideal candidate excels in graphic design, project management, and has exceptional execution skills.

Job Description:

• Execute special visual display projects as directed by senior visual staff
• Participate in the proofing process
• Create, review, and approve planograms
• Create Photoshop renderings
• Partner with graphic designers to enhance visual assets
• Assist in sourcing materials for window, in-store, and showroom set-ups
• Participate in store changeovers
• Utilize full creative suite knowledge

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in visual merchandising
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Sketchup
• Higher Diploma or above in visual merchandising or related field
• Strong graphic design skills
• Motivated, organized, and detail-oriented
• Able to work independently
• Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
• Experience in managing multiple projects and deliverables
• Recent graduate of the exhibition design program
• Experience in PLV developments in the retail business
