Alternative Consulting Enterprises, (ACE) LLC, an affiliate of Apis Services Inc, seeking a FULL-TIME Psychiatric Assistant to assist in providing patient related services in collaboration with clinicians and other providers.
Position StatementThis position is responsible for submitting and processing all psychiatric evaluations and medication management notes as scheduled and in collaboration with the psychiatrists. The Psychiatric Assistant will assist in processing and following up on billing and insurance claims, tracking, researching, correcting and resubmitting rejected/denied claims. This role assists in providing patient related services in collaboration with clinicians and other providers by preparing charts for appointments, reviewing record requests, processing requests, rooming patients and dictating visitations.

- Supports the physicians by completing all notes by end of business day and placing the notes in the submit folder for Clinical Director review
- Manages prior authorizations related to insurance denials of medications and manages all lab requests per physician orders
- Maintains updated forms in client files including yearly release of information for PCP and other physicians for coordination of care
- Prepares all charts for upcoming med appointments, reviews records requests and maintains information sharing with the therapist to provide continuity of care
- Support managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to the organization and communication
- Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects
- Computer skills and knowledge of relevant software
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy and ability to prioritize
- Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures and systems such as filing and record keeping
- High school diploma
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Two (2) to five (5) years' experience in a relevant field
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Associate's Degree (preferred)
