Patient Population: Pediatrics to Geriatrics
Certifications Required: BLS Required; ACLS Preferred
General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Orthopedic, Neuro experience required, ability to circulate and perform conscious sedation; trauma experience preferred
Ratio / Census: 1:1; 17 OR Rooms
Unit Systems: Pyxis and Epic (Preferred)
Scrub Color: Provided by the facility
RTO: MAX 7 days
Weekends: Depends on the shift
Floating: Not specified
Call Requirements: Depends on the shift. Days - 4 call days, 2 (3P-7P) and 2 (3P-11P) and 2 weekend days for 12 hours. Nights - After 3P then they take 11P-7A call and the weekends
Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.
