Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Pay Package: $33/hr on W2 $1152(Weekly non taxable stipend)
Weekly Gross: $2340
Job Description:We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Room team for a 13-week night shift assignment in Muskegon, MI. The RN will be responsible for providing emergency medical care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment, working collaboratively with physicians, healthcare providers, and support staff to stabilize and treat patients with a wide range of urgent health needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform rapid assessments and prioritize care based on patient acuity.
- Deliver emergency nursing care, including administering medications, IVs, and emergency interventions.
- Assist in trauma care, cardiac life support, and pediatric emergency situations.
- Work effectively in a high-stress environment while maintaining a calm demeanor.
- Provide clear communication and patient education to patients and their families.
- Document all assessments, treatments, and care plans accurately and promptly.
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and emergency response teams.
- Ensure compliance with hospital safety protocols and emergency room standards.
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC)
- Active RN license in the state of Michigan.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience.
- Strong knowledge of emergency care protocols, trauma care, and life-saving procedures.
- Ability to handle multiple patients and adapt to fast-changing situations.
- Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, night shift, with potential weekend and holiday rotations.
- 13-week contract.
