Location: Huntington, WV, 25701
Job Type: Contract (9 or 13 weeks) - Days/Nights - 3x12 Shift
Shift timing: 7a-7p/7p-7a
Every Other Weekend Required.Hours/week - 36hrs/week
About The JobWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a contract position in Huntington, WV.
This role offers flexibility with 9 or 13-week contracts and options for day or night shifts (3x12). Join our team and provide high-quality care to our patients in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Monitor patient health and record vital signs.
Assist with patient assessments and the development of care plans.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure patient needs are met.
Educate patients and their families about health conditions and care plans.
Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
Adhere to all healthcare regulations and safety standards.
QualificationsValid LPN license in the state of West Virginia.
CPR/BLS certification.
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing care practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
