Position Type: Systems Engineer

Location: Grand Prairie, TX

Hourly rate: $41.26

Job Description:

This role will require onsite support full-time at Missiles and Fire Control headquarters in Grand Prairie, TX working a 4/10 Flex schedule.

What You’ll Do:
* Work with interdisciplinary subject matter experts to analyze and document system requirements in DOORS
* Assist with system architecture analysis using tools like Cameo to assess and capture system use cases, interfaces, timing, and designs
* Capture verification artifacts to support Functional Configuration Audit (FCA)

Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science/Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering (Undeclared), Mechanical Engineering, Other STEM (Science/Technology/Engineering/Mathematics) degrees considered.
* 3 years working experience in DOORS
* 3 years Hands-on experience with Cameo
* Broad technical acumen to apply to complex system thinking
* Familiarity with system design concepts and tradeoffs
* Desire to learn detailed missile/ground system/fire control theory and operation
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
* Willingness to work onsite in a classified lab environment

Desired Skills:
* Experience with C , MATLAB is a plus
* Familiarity with fundamentals of missile system concepts
* Prior experience with DoD projects, particularly Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3)/IAMD is a plus
