• Position Summary
• Performs skilled work in the general and specific operation, installation, repair and maintenance of hospital electrical

systems, equipment and devices installed throughout hospital buildings, facilities. Decisions and actions with patients and families are determined in an ethical manner practicing compassion and respect for the inherent dignity, worth and unique attributes of each person.

Effectively communicates with patients / families, visitors, colleagues,

physicians, leadership, and volunteers. All areas of service are provided to achieve and maintain top decile results and outcomes for

patient experience, quality, and patient safety. Follows and adheres to UNC Appalacian policies and procedures, regulatory requirements and standards of behavior.

• Position Qualifications
• Minimum Education
• High School diploma or GED
• Experience
• Four (4) years of progressive experience in the maintenance and installation of electrical systems, equipment, and devices in institutional buildings and facilities as a journeyman electrician.
• Required Registration / License / Certification
• If a Driver : Valid NC Driver's license.Prefered : Certified Electrician and or Liscensed Electrician.
