Position Summary
The Patient Transporter at Watauga Medical Center is responsible for the safe and efficient transport of patients within the hospital.
This role is critical to maintaining the flow of operations and ensuring patients are moved safely between various departments, including radiology, operating rooms, and patient rooms.
The Patient Transporter also assists in the transport of equipment and specimens as needed. Key Responsibilities :
Compensation is competitive and commensurate with education and experience. Hiring compensation ranges from $16.00 - $23.
20 / hour. This position is benefits eligible after a 60-day waiting period.
Position Qualifications Minimum Education
High school diploma or GED preferred
Experience
Experience within the hospital environment preferred
Required Registration / License / Certification
CPR Certification (can be obtained upon hire)
