Appalachian Underwriters, Inc. is Hiring a Customer Service Representative Near Ridge, TN
Are you looking for a CAREER and not just a job? If so, Appalachian Underwriters is hiring Customer Service Representatives for our Oak Ridge, TN headquarters. You can EARN WHILE YOU LEARN with paid training. This is an entry-level role that can opens door to other departments and positions within AUI. This is not a sales position.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide exemplary customer service over the phone, online chat, or email.
- Document and update customer records based on interactions and customer needs.
- Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services.
- Mail requested documentation.
- Complete daily tasks when not on the phone.

Knowledge/Skills required:
- Demonstrated experience in customer service or other related fields.
- Ability to build rapport with clients with an enthusiastic attitude.
- A problem solver with a keen attention to detail.
- A “let’s work together” approach with open communication, excellence in service, integrity, and accountability.
- Ability to build trust by working as a team member, as well as independently, with minimal supervision.
- A positive and professional demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changes quickly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong computer skills.
