Apple Farm Service is looking for a motivated individual to join our team as our next Precision Farming Specialist. This candidate will serve as an integral team member to assist the service and sales departments in all aspects related to precision farming technology. The Precision Farming Specialist's main roles will include troubleshooting and repairing customers' precision farming equipment, guidance equipment, and other related technology. This person will also seek new and current customers to enhance their operation with the sales and installation of new precision equipment. The Precision Farming Specialist will work primarily by themselves; however, they will also be expected to work alongside all departments to offer their assistance when required. The Precision Farming Specialist will be expected to travel to customers between all of Apple Farm Service's locations.
Responsibilities:
? Repair and install current and older precision farming equipment. Some items include GPS receivers, navigation units, precision farming sensors, and transmitters, guidance systems, new and used monitors and displays from Trimble, CNH, and AG Leader.
? Successfully handle customers' technical problems, questions, and concerns over the phone or in person.
? Learn and comprehend specialized business software for the dealership, and navigate dealer portals through partnered brands and manufacturers.
? Efficiently bill and collect payment for any work done to customers, or any equipment sold to customers.
? Educate and assist customers in learning how to use their precision farming equipment.
? Stay up to date on all certifications and other educational opportunities required to maintain a specialist title for Precision Farming.
? Work as a team member between all departments at all stores.

Qualifications:
? Valid driver's license and ability to travel more than 50% of the workday. (Company vehicle provided)
? Previous experience working with precision farming equipment

Pay:
? Pay based on experience and work ethic.
? Time and a half paid for any hours worked over 40 hr/wk.
? Raises offered based on performance and time spent within the company
