We are currently seeking a Part-time After-School Teacher (2pm to 6pm) for the center who has experience working with Elementary School kids in the After-School program (ages 6-12).

Qualified individual must have:

- preferred experience working with elementary school age children

- provide homework help to elementary school students

- experience with developing curriculum

- participate in summer program with after schoolers

- curriculum and activity development and implementation for the class

- classroom management with an afterschool class with about 20 students with another teacher

- work well with other individuals, including parents, co-workers and supervisors

- great communication skills

- Must be able to drive the van

The job will be an enriching experience for those interested in pursuing degrees in education and early childhood development. The child care is in operation Monday through Friday from 6:00 am through 6:00 pm.

Applicant for this position must be at least 18 years of age, and have a HS Diploma or GED equivalent. The right individuals must be extremely reliable and punctual, be nurturing and energetic and extremely willing and patient to work with young children. We will train the right individual.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
