As a Licensed Dental Assistant at Apple Tree Dental, you will play a crucial role in our mission by:
- Assisting our dentists in providing exceptional dental care
- Building rapport and trust with patients and their families
- Providing chairside assistance during procedures and treatments
- Educating patients on oral health practices and preventive care
- Maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment
The Heart of the Role:
- Demonstrate a passion for embodying Apple Tree Dental’s mission, vision, and values.
- Show proficiency in dental assisting techniques across all phases of general dentistry.
- Have knowledge of modern dental materials, including storage, handling, and applications.
- Be able to multitask, prioritize assignments, and adhere to schedules, deadlines, and protocols.
- Possess empathetic and professional communication skills when addressing the expectations and concerns of ATD’s dental patients.
- Collaborate effectively with individuals from diverse social, ethnic, and economic backgrounds.
- Be proficient in or willing to learn computer skills and systems such as Open Dental software, Microsoft Office, and other relevant platforms as required.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required, along with completion of an accredited dental assisting course
- Active licensure in Minnesota, DANB certification, or equivalent state jurisprudence for performing specified tasks
- Current CPR (BLS)
- Proficiency in oral and written communication in English
- The possession of a valid driver’s license and eligibility to be added to the company car insurance roster is highly desirable. (**For Mobile only **)
