Location: Miami, FL
Compensation: Technicians can expect to earn between $30 and $40 per hour, equating to an annual range of $60,000 to $80,000, along with potential bonuses that are market-dependent.
Summary: We are seeking an experienced HVAC/R Service Technician to join a dedicated team in Miami, FL. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of one year of technical experience in areas such as refrigeration, appliance repair, kitchen equipment, or Commercial HVAC. Relevant military service will also be considered. Preferred certifications include EPA Universal (or EPA I & II) and/or CFESA certification.
Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, modify, and install various HVAC equipment, including compressors, condensers, chillers, and water cooling towers.
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections of refrigeration units, heating and ventilating systems, and boilers, making necessary adjustments or repairs.
• Repair or replace defective parts in HVAC units and equipment, ensuring controls function properly.
• Operate a range of hand and power tools, maintain equipment, and manage inventory of parts and tools.
• Perform skilled electrical maintenance work, including installation and modification of wiring systems and motors.
• Lubricate and maintain HVAC equipment, ensuring optimal functioning.
• Install, calibrate systems, and repair pipes as needed, including testing and insulating refrigeration and air conditioning pipes.
• Keep detailed records of time, labor, and materials, and prepare reports on tasks performed.

Schedule: Standard working hours are typically from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, with a rotational on-call schedule every 3-4 weeks. Some overnight travel may be required based on market demands.
Experience Required: Candidates should possess at least one year of relevant technical experience, with a preference for those holding EPA Universal (or EPA I & II) and/or CFESA certifications.
Additional Requirements

• Successful candidates will undergo a background check.
• A drug test for controlled substances is mandatory.
• A driving record/MVR check will also be conducted.
