Location: Remote or in-person

```Duties:
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with psychiatric disorders
- Prescribe and manage medications for patients
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Provide counseling and psychotherapy to patients
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment options
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records

-Maintain malpractice insurance

Qualifications:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Alabama
- Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization in psychiatric-mental health
- Experience working as a PMHNP preferred
- Strong knowledge of psychiatric disorders, diagnostic evaluation, and treatment modalities
- Proficiency in conducting physical examinations, including specimen collection processing
- Case management skills to coordinate care for patients with complex needs
- Experience working with children and adolescents is a plus
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Understanding of occupational health principles and practices

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $60,072.84 - $98,388.80 per year
