About the Park :

New Orleans RV Resort & Marina - New Orleans, LA. 70126 - This park is a high-end, gated RV resort and marina with villas for rent, restaurant and bar and guest lodge in a marina setting located near Lakefront Airport.

About the Job :

We are looking for talented candidates who are well-rounded maintenance / carpenter pros to take on a variety of projects throughout the resort.

Mainly working in our Villas to keep maintained and make repairs and improvements. In the full-time position, you will be responsible for helping us maintain and enhance our RV Resort and Marina.

• Perform minor electrical, plumbing and structural repairs.
• Perform general building maintenance as needed such as repairs, sheetrock, vinyl siding, painting, and carpentry work.
• Install and replace floors, stairs, doors, walls, as needed.
• Repair doors, windows, walls, ceilings, roofs as needed.
• Follow all company safety protocols.
• Work on other special projects as requested

Experience / Skills Required :

• At least 1 year of maintenance experience required
• Highschool graduate or GED required
• A sense of energy, integrity and dependability
• Dedication to serving customers and a job well done
• Proficient with hand tools and power tools
• Knowledge and experience with basic plumbing and electrical systems
• Must be able to work 8 hours shifts, five days a week from 8 : 30 to 4 : 30, including some weekends
• Must be within commuting distance to the Resort and have reliable transportation

Physical Requirements :

Able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds and actively walk through the resort Able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, and reach Able to work outdoors throughout the year Subject to environmental conditions, work activities can occur inside and outside
