We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling both accounts payable and accounts receivable duties, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions. This role requires proficiency in financial software, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Process accounts payable invoices in a timely manner, verifying accuracy and obtaining necessary approvals.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
Prepare and process accounts receivable invoices and maintain customer accounts.
Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on past due accounts.
Process customer payments and reconcile accounts receivable ledger.
Assist with month-end closing procedures, including account reconciliations and journal entries.
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
Respond to vendor and customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
Assist with ad hoc financial projects and tasks, as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
1-2 years of experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable roles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Prior Experience In a Fast-paced Environment Is Preferred.Benefits:
