Overview:
The Branch Manager is responsible for the administration and efficient daily operation of a full-service bank branch including operations, client service, product sales, and security and safety in accordance with the Bank's objectives. This position is expected to work in office.
Responsibilities:

• Administration and Operations:

o Oversee daily operations, client service, product sales, and security of a full-service bank branch. o Hire, train, and develop staff to maintain high customer service standards. o Manage branch profitability, implement cost controls, and ensure operational quality control. o Enforce superior customer service, handle complex transactions, and resolve customer issues.

• Ensure compliance with bank policies and state/federal regulations.
• Management Activities:
• Conduct regular meetings with staff to discuss team needs, career goals, and performance.
• Promote deposit growth through in-branch sales promotions and monitor branch trends.
• Communicate policy changes and ensure staff training.
• Operational Activities:
• Oversee day-to-day branch operations, including approval of large transactions and review of daily reports.
• Handle audits and compliance with bank procedures and regulations.
• Customer Service/Retention Activities:
• Foster a welcoming environment and differentiate the bank from competitors.
• Sales Leadership:
• Develop and execute sales strategies, build relationships, and participate in community events.
• Coach staff on sales skills and product knowledge, and implement plans to attract new customers.
• Community Relations:
• Promote the bank’s CRA policies and participate in community activities with a minimum of 10 volunteer hours per year.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Manage 2 or more branch employees, provide training and development, and conduct performance evaluations.

Qualifications:

• 7 years in a branch environment with 5 years in branch management.
• Experience managing complex accounts and proven sales ability.
• Strong communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
• Involvement in community organizations and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Valid California driver’s license and insurance coverage.
